I am a person who gets tense easily and easily gets distracted! After learning from master to practice Qigong & meditation, I found myself can focus more , feel calmer and not easily get agitated. I noticed I have clearer mind to solve problem and issues effectively!

I have started practicing meditation 15 years ago on my own without guidance and has given up as I have always felt ‘too deep’ at times and unsafe. Having started monthly meditation sessions with Master Joanne, I have managed to regain the confidence as she calmly guide my mind into a state of relaxation and its depth is infinite.
Meditation as a group is also very reassuring and I especially like the sharing towards the end of each session.
I am especially grateful to Master Joanne for her attentiveness towards my personal well being, constantly instilling health, mindfulness, compassion and love.

Meditation classes are always a fresh reset for me at the end of the week. The meditation itself clears my mind and allows me (and my mind) to completely come to a stop, and the sharings are always insightful and make me rethink flawed or unhealthy mindsets I have.
I may come to classes feeling exhausted, but will always leave rejuvenated and fresh 🙂 Very grateful to everyone who has been working hard to set up the online platforms, obtain the food and facilitate the lessons

I have been doing meditation and Qigong with Jade Life (JL) for about seven years now.
When I first started, we had meditation during certain Qigong cultivation courses that were organised. Over the last three years, this has evolved into regular monthly meditation classes.
Although the meditation classes are once a month, we are encouraged to meditate daily at least for about 10 minutes each time, using the techniques that are taught in the classes.
Master Joanne has a knack of explaining difficult concepts in a simple way, allowing me to feel the positive and calming energy from the techniques that she teaches so that all her classes leave us feeling energised and refreshed.
Although I am not the perfect student and do not meditate everyday, the two practices of qigong and meditation that I have learnt from JL have benefitted me in terms of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well being. I feel I am more calm and aware when dealing with my thoughts and in my interactions with family, friends, work colleagues, business partners and clients. This has resulted in more harmonious relationships, even with difficult people.

My experience before attending Master Joanne meditation workshop was that I tend to fall asleep during meditation or my mind would wander during session.
At the workshop, the mediation was guided and I was able to sit through the entire session. Although i did not see lights as some participants do, i did experience some sensations like warmth and also calmness and quietness.
I look forward to learning more from the meditation workshop and to become better in meditating.
